This is an annual opt-in matchplay competition, with 100% Playing Handicap Allowances. Matches must be completed on or before the play-by date for each round. Winners should email the result to the Knockout organiser immediately after the match has been played.
Matches may be played at the earliest possible date over any mutually agreed course. Play-by dates have been set to coincide with PF Meetings so that, as a last resort, matches may be played at that Meeting. Should the match not have been completed by the play-by date and only one of the competitors attends the PF Meeting, then he will go through automatically to the next round. Should attempts have been made to arrange the match yet neither can attend the PF Meeting the match (apart from the final) will be decided by the toss of a coin. Should both competitors be unable to fulfil the match, or no attempt has been made to arrange the match, both competitors risk disqualification.
Concessions are permitted. Apart from matches played on the Play-by date, all notifications, including results, concessions, unsuccessful attempts to arrange the match, etc., must be emailed to the Knockout organiser prior to the Play-by date.
Please play your matches as soon as possible after your opponent is known.
